- Conduct fit sessions for your designated product categories.
- Assist the technologist team in managing fit sessions across various product lines.
- Analyze technical issues comprehensively and communicate clear, precise feedback to suppliers.
- Collaborate with Design and Buying teams to provide technical insight for new product development.
- Engage with suppliers to enhance their weaknesses and uphold their strengths.
- Identify and initiate new projects in line with business goals.
- Monitor factory performance and maintain detailed records of findings.
- Manage project timelines and proactively address potential issues.
- Stay informed on fiber composition labeling and product safety regulations.
- Champion quality at every level, maintaining a strong commercial perspective.
- Maintain a supplier performance database for ongoing reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
- Provide feedback to the Technical Manager and peers, suggesting enhancements to processes and practices.
- A relevant technical qualification, ideally at the degree level, accompanied by 6-7 years of experience in a comparable role within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience collaborating directly with factories, with a solid understanding of their structures and operations, including machinery and equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of fitting and fit-related issues is essential, with pattern-cutting knowledge highly desirable.
- Familiarity with grading principles and rules is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of garment construction and fabric technology, including testing protocols.
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience in cross-cultural environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, inspiring and motivating team members.
- Proactive in facing challenges with a positive mindset and taking ownership of designated projects.
