Desired Qualifications: While the following qualifications are preferred, we encourage all applicants who feel they could be a great fit to apply.5+ years of experience in building services or hydraulic engineering consultancy, with a preference for Chartered status or progress toward professional registration (CPEng, RPEQ, Registered Design Practitioner). Demonstrated proficiency in creating high-quality technical documentation, specifications, reports, and drawings for hydraulic systems across various building types. In-depth knowledge of the NCC, relevant Australian Standards, Fire and Rescue requirements, and local authority approval processes. Familiarity with engineering documentation tools such as MS Office, Bluebeam, and relevant hydraulic design software. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Lead the design and delivery of intricate hydraulic solutions for major building initiatives, ensuring adherence to the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and local regulations.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, and designers to tackle technical challenges, ensuring high-quality, integrated project outcomes.
Coordinate with project managers and team leaders to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver projects on schedule, enhancing overall team performance.
Engage with external clients to clarify project scopes, manage expectations, and provide effective engineering solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and designers by offering technical guidance, conducting reviews, and sharing knowledge to foster team growth and excellence.
