POSITION SUMMARY
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Interior Designer to become a vital member of our collaborative design team. This role presents the opportunity to spearhead prestigious interior design projects from inception to completion, focusing on high-end residential and commercial developments throughout the region. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision with technical proficiency, acting as a key contributor to multidisciplinary project teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead interior design projects through all phases, from schematic design to construction administration.
- Collaborate with the architectural team to ensure effective client communications, project timelines, and budget management.
- Independently advance projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Oversee and manage client interior budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Direct all aspects of interior design, including architectural integration, millwork design, furniture selection, material specifications, and lighting design.
- Design custom casework, including creating shop drawings, coordinating fabrication, and overseeing delivery.
- Prepare detailed specifications, manage purchasing processes, and supervise scheduling and installation.
- Develop client proposals, presentation boards (both digital and physical), cost estimates, and scopes of work.
- Confidently present design concepts and material selections to clients.
- Proactively communicate any scheduling concerns, budget issues, or project challenges to management.
- Coordinate all project consultants or supervise coordination by team members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance to facilitate timely invoicing and resolve any billing matters.
- Contribute to a dynamic and collaborative studio environment as an integral member of the design team.
