Role Overview: Senior iOS Software Engineer
This senior role advances Airbnb’s Quality Platform by connecting product engineering with infrastructure. The position focuses on keeping Airbnb’s iOS codebase resilient and testable as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI-Driven Tools: Build automation using AI agents to improve CI/CD pipelines and deliver actionable feedback to developers.
- Boost Developer Efficiency: Identify and remove bottlenecks in the development lifecycle so teams can move faster without losing quality.
- Promote Quality by Design: Collaborate with product teams to influence architecture, making sure new features are modular and testable from the start.
- Launch High-Scale Infrastructure: Lead development and maintenance of frameworks used by hundreds of Airbnb engineers, keeping them efficient, reliable, and easy to use.
A Day in the Life
- Hands-on Development: Write efficient Swift code to expand testing frameworks and create AI-powered developer tools, including those using LLMs to streamline workflows.
- Technical Ownership: Take responsibility for key infrastructure components, driving quality and performance improvements.
