Role Overview: Senior Linux/DevOps Engineer

Gramian Consultancy seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer with advanced Linux expertise to support the transformation of complex IT environments. This hybrid position focuses on automation, CI/CD, and cloud migration. The role blends system administration and DevOps, requiring both operational know-how and the ability to design and implement modern engineering practices.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and supporting cloud migration projects. The position is based in Paris, Île-de-France, France, with hybrid work options and offices in Saint-Cloud, Lille, Nantes, Rennes, and Lyon. This is a permanent contract.

What You Will Do

Manage and operate Linux-based infrastructure environments
Handle application deployments: installation, configuration, and optimization
Design and build CI/CD pipelines from scratch
Support migration from on-premise systems to cloud platforms
Automate infrastructure and processes using DevOps tools and scripting
Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshoot production issues
Conduct technical audits and recommend improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems
Drive continuous improvement and technical evolution

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in system administration, focused on Linux
Minimum 3 years in a DevOps role
Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines from the ground up
Hands-on with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI or Jenkins)
Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Java, or Shell
Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
