About the Role

These systems provide significant recommendations directly to our studios and are backed by strong leadership support.

We are seeking a skilled engineer with extensive knowledge in mathematical optimization and operational research, particularly proficient in tools such as Gurobi or OR-Tools, to design and implement production-ready optimization systems. You will collaborate within the ML teams in the DTIS organization on impactful, executive-sponsored projects, working closely with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to convert complex business constraints into scalable solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Create and implement large-scale optimization models utilizing industry-standard solvers, including Gurobi.

Develop decision systems that:

Integrate predictive signals from machine learning models (e.g., forecasts and scoring models).
Function under various operational and business constraints.
Automatically balance trade-offs across competing objectives.
Enhance existing workflows to optimize the core usage of the Gurobi solver and minimize job runtime.
Work closely with ML engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to integrate predictive models into downstream systems.
Conduct scenario analysis and uplift forecasts.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:Front-office activities:Customer service and sales: Manage check-ins and check-outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, and upsell road trip extras.Back-office activities:Operations handling: Align reservations with available campervans, verify and prepare campers, and coordinate road trip extras and kits.Quality control: Maintain campervans in top condition, identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
