Key Responsibilities:
· Execute advanced break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. This includes diagnosing issues through observation, disassembling equipment to access faulty parts, inspecting components for defects, adjusting functional elements of devices, repairing or replacing defective parts, testing equipment performance, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
· Identify and procure necessary parts and supplies, evaluating alternatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and reliability of machinery.
· Perform maintenance in accordance with industry standards independently.
· Collaborate with the Planner Scheduler to refine preventative maintenance protocols.
· Setup and operate various machining equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other tools for part fabrication and repair, with possible welding responsibilities.
· Adhere to 5S and cleanliness standards.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on processes, outcomes, and cost savings utilizing CI methodologies.
· Mentor junior technicians and guide project teams, performing expert functions to aid in training and development.
· Analyze and troubleshoot complex control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues.
· Leverage predictive maintenance technology for performance data collection, identifying trends and making informed recommendations.
· Maintain accurate records and review CMMS history to analyze data trends.
· Conduct and participate in on-the-job training and continuous self-improvement initiatives.
· Follow all safety policies, regulations, and guidelines, maintaining awareness to identify unsafe practices and conditions.
