Join Deloitte as a Senior Manager in Audit Quality and Risk, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our audit practice's System of Quality controls. You will be instrumental in the implementation and adherence to auditing standards, methodologies, and relevant regulations through various initiatives, including:
- Conducting internal inspections and engagement monitoring.
- Executing independent, risk-focused reviews of engagement files as part of our continuous monitoring program.
- Identifying instances of non-compliance with established methodologies and auditing standards.
- Developing high-performing teams by leading and supporting individuals to deliver exceptional client service.
- Utilizing your experience and research, alongside the ISA/Deloitte Methodology, to devise solutions for issues identified during internal inspections, and suggesting best practices for practitioners to rectify deficiencies.
- Engaging in constructive discussions, challenging senior engagement team members regarding audit risks and their approaches.
- Collaborating with engagement teams to resolve any arising issues.
- Providing valuable insights to enhance the quality audits performed by engagement teams and the broader audit practice.
- Performing causal factor analyses to uncover root causes of problems.
- Assessing and challenging remediation plans effectively.
- Supporting practitioners during external and regulatory inspections.
- Executing various monitoring functions across the audit practice, including independence and AWM monitoring.
