Join joinmakropro as a Senior Manager in our Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the Business Report Development initiatives for CP Axtra’s BIC, overseeing the planning, execution, governance, and dependability of enterprise business reporting across Makro/Lotus. Collaborate closely with Data Engineering Operations and business stakeholders to ensure BIC dashboards and reports are reliable, timely, and trusted. You will also coordinate incident triage and service level agreement (SLA) communications.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Reporting & Delivery:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of BIC dashboards and scheduled reports. Establish standards for data modeling, DAX/SQL patterns, performance, and release processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for discrepancies and document corrective actions.
2) Platform Operations & SLA:
- Manage daily and weekly SLA communications with Data Operations and vendors, covering delays, pipeline statuses, estimated time of arrival (ETA), and stakeholder notifications.
- Ensure preparedness for month-end and quarter-end processes.
3) Governance & Security:
- Incorporate BIC governance practices such as access management, row-level security (RLS), object-level security, and workspace standards, aligning with the directives of the CP Axtra Data Governance Committee.
4) Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison for business owners across Operations, Finance, Commercial, and other departments, effectively communicating changes, incidents, and delivery timelines to diverse stakeholder groups.
5) Leadership & Team Enablement:
- Mentor analysts and BI developers on best practices and standards; manage transition plans and handovers when ownership changes.
