Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities are essential. A proven track record of managing complex contracts and navigating regulatory requirements is highly desirable.

About the job

In the evolving landscape of space as a warfighting domain, True Anomaly is on a mission to innovate and secure our nation's interests. We are looking for talented individuals who possess a drive to develop groundbreaking technology.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly is committed to providing decisive capabilities for achieving space superiority. Our expertise lies in constructing autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission-critical software, and space-based interceptors. Our work empowers the U. S. and its Allies to safeguard the space environment and effectively counter potential threats from above.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the Offset. We strive to create asymmetric advantages through our creativity and ingenuity.
  • What Would It Take? We continuously challenge assumptions to produce ambitious outcomes.
  • It’s the People. Our team is our greatest asset, and we achieve more by working collaboratively.

YOUR MISSION

As the Senior Manager of Contracts, you will be the company's inaugural dedicated contracts hire within the Legal Department, managing U. S. Department of Defense contracts from proposal support through to award, post-award performance, and final closeout. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will collaborate with the proposal and business development teams, program managers, and engineers to ensure contracts are structured, administered, and closed in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

This hands-on role in our growing legal department allows you to manage your own portfolio of contracts from day one, granting you significant autonomy and serving as a primary point of contact with government Contracting Officers and Contracting Officer Representatives. The ideal candidate will possess the judgment and initiative that comes from working in a lean organization, demonstrating the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

A key component of this role is the development of a contracts team. Working closely with the General Counsel, you will assess staffing needs, recruit contract administrators, and establish the necessary processes and structures to scale the contracts function as the company expands. Until the team is fully established, and whenever the workload demands, you will continue to take on individual contract management responsibilities.

About True Anomaly, Inc.
