West Monroe is seeking a Senior Manager with deep expertise in the utilities industry to enhance our Energy and Utilities Practice. Our team leads the charge in transforming the energy and utilities landscape, providing strategic advisement and implementing essential field and back-office technologies pivotal to the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Delivery

  • Lead or establish a program management office (PMO) for utility clients engaged in complex initiatives.
  • Support or act as the Project Manager to create project plans, set milestones, and define deliverables for significant engagements.
  • Conduct workshops to gather business process and technical requirements, resulting in process maps, requirements documentation, and KPIs for utility-related activities (e.g., grid modernization, customer engagement, operational efficiency).
  • Oversee teams of software implementation, systems integration, and business consultants throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to the Energy & Utilities consulting practice by formulating methodologies, service offerings, and promoting a culture of best practices.

Practice Development

  • Drive the growth and evolution of West Monroe's Energy & Utilities Practice by enhancing service offerings, cultivating a positive culture, and establishing thought leadership.
  • Position yourself as an industry thought leader by engaging in publications, conference presentations, white papers, and active participation in associations.

Business Development

  • Collaborate with clients to translate their strategic objectives into actionable projects and comprehensive proposals.
  • Formulate work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospective projects.
  • Enhance client relationships by leveraging your proven track record in business development with both new and existing utility clients.
