Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of network engineers, system administrators, and lab system administrators to support Freenome's infrastructure (on-prem, labs, and GCP). Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills while possessing a deep comprehension of cloud technologies, virtualization, storage, networking, software, and hardware. Drive process improvements to enhance product and service quality in line with business objectives. Contribute to defining the department's long-term strategy and goals. Work with the Help Desk and Business Application teams to establish and implement the infrastructure necessary for daily operations. Ensure data security and disaster recovery protocols are in place, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop standardized processes and procedures to guide documentation and knowledge base development for IT infrastructure.

About the Role:
Freenome is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure to spearhead the architecture, design, and implementation of vital infrastructure technologies that will underpin our technology platform as we scale our business. This position will involve the introduction of new technologies and the management of ongoing infrastructure support, including collaboration with our vendor partners.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of networking, virtualization, server, storage, and operating system technologies, both on-premise and in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Close collaboration with the Information Security team will be essential to maintain a compliant and secure infrastructure environment.
This position reports directly to the Director of IT and will be an Onsite role.
