Equinox is on the lookout for a Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships to spearhead the creation and execution of strategic brand collaborations aimed at enhancing the member experience and delivering significant business results.
This pivotal role is centered around executing partnerships in a 360-degree manner , utilizing digital platforms, in-club experiences, and external outreach , guaranteeing that each collaboration embodies a premium feel, intentionality, and alignment with the Equinox brand ethos.
Though partner sourcing is part of the role, the primary focus will be on activation, execution, and performance management. This position is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented professional who excels at transforming innovative ideas into seamless, high-quality member experiences that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy & Sourcing (≈10%)
- Identify and evaluate potential brand partners in hospitality, wellness, fitness, travel, fashion, and lifestyle sectors.
- Maintain a targeted pipeline of partnership opportunities that reflect brand values and member expectations.
- Assess partnership opportunities through both brand alignment and business relevance, ensuring scale and member value.
Partnership Activation & Experience Execution (≈70%)
- Oversee the full lifecycle of partnership activation from concept through launch and subsequent optimization.
- Craft creative partnership initiatives that translate into impactful member experiences beyond mere logo placements.
- Implement partnerships across digital, in-club, and out-of-club channels, including:
- Member communications and content.
- In-club experiences, activations, and programming.
- Events and experiential moments, extending beyond the club environment.
- Manage activation planning, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent partnerships.
- Collaborate extensively with internal teams, including Brand, Marketing, Club Operations, Merchandising, Legal, Finance, and Product, to ensure a unified execution approach.
- Direct external agencies and partner teams to meet creative, operational, and branding standards.
Commercial Management, Measurement & Optimization (≈20%)
- Assist in deal structuring and contract negotiations in conjunction with Legal and Finance.
- Evaluate paid media value, rate cards, and in-kind value exchanges.
- Establish success metrics for each partnership, focusing on engagement, revenue, retention, and NPS impact.
- Monitor partner-funded value, offsets, and ROI.
- Lead post-launch evaluations and apply insights to refine future partnerships.
