WatchGuard Technologies is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to oversee all facets of revenue accounting and accounts receivable within our expanding global SaaS and technology enterprise. This prominent, hands-on leadership position is essential for maintaining precise, compliant, and scalable revenue operations in alignment with ASC 606.
This individual will be the go-to expert for GAAP revenue recognition, NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and SKU configuration, collaborating cross-functionally to drive business growth, automation, and operational excellence.

A Day in Your Life
As a Senior Manager, your daily activities will blend hands-on execution with strategic oversight. Mornings may involve reviewing revenue close activities, managing deferred revenue movements, or resolving complex ASC 606 judgments related to unique deals. Throughout the day, you will work closely with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A to ensure that contracts, SKUs, and system setups are accurately configured from the outset.
Your time in NetSuite will focus on reviewing ARM configurations, revenue schedules, and identifying automation opportunities, along with mentoring your team, dismantling obstacles, and refining processes across the order-to-cash lifecycle. As the custodian of revenue audit readiness, you will guarantee documentation is rigorous, controls function efficiently, and audit requests are handled swiftly and confidently.

You possess extensive technical knowledge in ASC 606 and GAAP revenue recognition, coupled with practical experience applying this guidance in complex, real-world situations. You are adept at owning outcomes, making judicious decisions, and standing firm on your conclusions, especially in the presence of auditors and senior management.
You relish the challenge of establishing order amid evolving processes and are driven by enhancing accuracy, automation, and scalability. Your communication skills empower you to convey complex accounting concepts into actionable insights for finance and non-finance stakeholders alike.
