Role Overview
Archer is scaling up production of the Midnight 1.0 and developing the next-generation Midnight 1.1 platform. The Senior Manufacturing Design Engineer - Methods and Standards will join the Manufacturing Design Engineering (MDE) team. This position connects aircraft design with high-rate production, focusing on standardizing manufacturing processes across the organization.
This engineer will help build and maintain a centralized, version-controlled knowledge base for complex manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Certification teams to implement manufacturing solutions that support bringing new aircraft to market.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, document, and maintain standardized engineering methods and best practices for the MDE organization.
- Support the creation of manufacturing planning frameworks, process definitions, work instructions, and build readiness for development, certification, and production phases.
