Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering. Proven experience with Design for Testability (DFT), test architecture design, and software development is essential. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities are required. Familiarity with automated testing and statistical analysis tools will be advantageous.

We are currently looking for a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to spearhead the comprehensive test strategy, development, and implementation of production test solutions for our cutting-edge products. This pivotal role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams and global contract manufacturers to establish scalable, reliable, and high-quality manufacturing test processes. As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will take ownership of the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing test solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to mass production. You will act as a technical lead, responsible for defining test architecture, developing and maintaining test software, supporting contract manufacturers, leveraging data for insights, and driving continuous quality and yield improvements. This role demands strong hands-on engineering expertise, systems-level thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across hardware, firmware, operations, quality, and external manufacturing partners. **Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence three days a week in either our San Francisco or San Diego office.**
