We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to spearhead the design, review, and oversight of mechanical systems for intricate construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will possess a robust technical foundation in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building services. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all mechanical systems adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the mechanical engineering design process encompassing HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Create and evaluate mechanical system designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and architectural teams to align mechanical designs.
- Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and feasibility assessments as required.
- Ensure compliance of all designs with relevant international and local codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals to confirm adherence to design intent.
- Perform regular site visits and inspections to ensure correct execution of mechanical works.
- Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers and team members.
Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation from a mechanical engineering perspective.
