Pro Builder is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems for our diverse building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a robust technical foundation, exceptional problem-solving skills, and significant hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other crucial mechanical systems pertinent to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and supervise the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Ensure that all mechanical works comply with project specifications, relevant codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems into project designs.
- Prepare and assess technical submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors to guarantee quality and timely completion of mechanical work.
- Assist in procurement activities by evaluating material and equipment specifications.
- Compile project documentation, including progress reports, as-built drawings, and operation & maintenance manuals.
