Your Role:

We are searching for a seasoned Mechatronics Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and commissioning of sophisticated mechatronic systems specifically for the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will be responsible for translating performance requirements into subsystem concepts, designing and implementing effective solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with the overall system architecture. This position involves on-site commissioning and troubleshooting at Sioux's customer locations or their end-customer sites, necessitating frequent travel (25-50% of the time) to guarantee smooth project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform performance requirements into subsystem concepts and engineering specifications.

  • Lead the design, development, and commissioning of mechatronic systems.

  • Make critical design decisions regarding motion system design, sensing, actuation, control strategies, and system integration.

  • Conduct design trade-offs considering performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.

  • Review and validate designs and project plans.

  • Support the industrialization, validation, and release of systems.

  • Collaborate effectively with system architects, project managers, and lead engineers.

  • Be available for commissioning and troubleshooting primarily in The Netherlands.

  • Travel to Southeast Asia for commissioning and troubleshooting activities.

  • Act as a key liaison for our customers’ end customers, providing necessary support.
