Role Overview

The Senior Media Manager will play a key role in Flywheel Digital’s marketing team, focusing on media strategy and execution within the retail media space. This position involves developing comprehensive media plans, managing advertising campaigns, and ensuring all activities support larger business goals. The role calls for deep expertise in retail advertising platforms, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in media management.

What You Will Do

  • Lead client engagements and guide strategic discussions.
  • Support clients with planning and budgeting, working closely with the team to deliver campaigns that meet agreed KPIs.
  • Offer expert direction on campaign optimization to drive results.
  • Oversee keyword and bid strategies across various advertising platforms.
  • Set up daily, weekly, and monthly reporting frameworks, providing analytics and performance insights for retail media campaigns.
  • Manage the creation and rollout of Test & Learn initiatives, especially for new retailer ad offerings and Flywheel’s internal capabilities.
  • Lead or oversee recurring client calls to ensure campaign success.
  • Develop account teams and direct reports, supporting their career growth at Flywheel Digital.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of client campaign budgets and take responsibility for any budget mismanagement by the account teams.
  • For full-service media and retail engagements, connect weekly with the internal Retail team.
  • Educate clients on industry trends and best practices, sharing thought leadership as needed.
  • Work with teams to identify new opportunities for managed clients.
  • Collaborate to quickly resolve issues that may impact campaign performance.
