Role Overview: Senior Medical Writer
The Senior Medical Writer will play a central role in developing and delivering high-quality medical communications for clients. This position involves both hands-on writing and project oversight, with a focus on clear, accurate, and meaningful scientific content.
Key Responsibilities
Communication
- Understand the objectives and context of communications within the wider therapeutic landscape.
- Communicate scientific and medical information effectively to a range of audiences using both print and digital formats.
- Monitor and share significant updates in therapy areas and medical or regulatory milestones with teams and clients, highlighting new business opportunities when relevant.
- Provide regular feedback to junior team members across different accounts and projects.
- Keep senior team members informed about project and account status, and proactively flag potential challenges.
Project Delivery
- Oversee multiple projects and accounts, ensuring effective team performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of project timelines, budgets, and scopes of work.
- Adhere to quality control processes and ensure all outputs are reviewed internally, setting an example for junior staff.
- Demonstrate solid project management and resource allocation skills.
- Stay informed about developments in the pharmaceutical sector.
