As a Senior Merchandiser based in central Manchester, this position plays a central role in shaping the company’s commercial direction by using data and insight to drive sales, profitability, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to increase sales and profitability across several product categories.
  • Plan budgets for each category and set option counts, ensuring buying depth aligns with business goals.
  • Oversee stock levels and monitor WSSI to support efficient stock intake.
  • Review sales forecasts and recommend proactive steps to maximize results.
  • Identify top and bottom sellers, taking swift action to optimize category performance.
  • Contribute to decision-making on promotions, rebuys, and trading activity.
  • Collaborate closely with Buying, Visual Merchandising, Studio, and Finance teams.
  • Lead and mentor team members, supporting their professional development.

Requirements

  • Experience in a merchandising role with a track record of commercial impact.
  • Strong understanding of WSSI and trading frameworks.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical ability.
  • Analytical approach and confident decision-making skills.
  • Commercial awareness, ideally with interest in menswear and streetwear.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
