We are seeking a Trust and Safety Porto Site Lead to advance our mission.This role is based in Porto, Portugal, and follows a hybrid work model (2 days in-office per week).About the TeamThe Trust & Safety team ensures that Patreon remains a welcoming and fair environment, allowing creators and fans to connect and unleash their creativity. We establish clear, easy-to-understand standards and act promptly and consistently when issues arise, instilling confidence in our global community to create, share, and engage respectfully.Our Porto site serves as the heartbeat of safety operations in Europe, where most of our frontline Trust & Safety efforts take place. It fosters a supportive community, enabling team members to share insights and collaborate on challenging tasks. The feedback from Porto significantly influences policy decisions, tool requests, and our approach to scaling with personnel, BPOs, and automation. As Patreon grows more publicly accessible, Porto's experiences will be central to our evolution.About the RoleWe are looking for a Trust & Safety Site Lead in Porto to maintain a robust safety pipeline during EU hours and ensure smooth collaboration between Porto and the U.S. You will act as Porto's champion for safety operations—translating local signals into global actions, assisting teams in implementing lasting improvements, and communicating changes clearly and effectively.You will work within the Trust & Safety department, gaining crucial operational insights, while your responsibilities extend site-wide: leading the Porto Leadership Council, collaborating with the Admin/HR partner, and representing the interests of all Porto teams (not just Trust & Safety) in significant decision-making processes.
