Role Overview
As a Senior . NET Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to achieve a zero-waste future. Your work will directly contribute to significant reductions in food waste, fuel consumption, costs, and CO₂ emissions within the airline industry. Reporting to our Backend Tech Lead, you will work closely with various teams to design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs that facilitate data-driven decision-making for airlines worldwide. Your focus will be on delivering high-performance, reliable solutions that adapt to our growing platform needs while ensuring exceptional quality in feature delivery.
Your contributions will help propel our technology forward, making air travel not only sustainable but also resource-efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
Manage projects from concept to implementation, including testing and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective technical solutions.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to backend team members.
Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards.
Encourage a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Implement best practices for automated testing, deployment, and stability monitoring.
Document technical designs and system architecture for compliance and reference.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
