We are currently seeking a Senior . NET Software Engineer for our client based in Malta, who is part of a European Institution. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the domain of international protection, aiding Member States in the implementation of EU legislation concerning asylum, international protection, and reception conditions. Your expertise will be vital in offering practical, legal, technical, advisory, and operational support aimed at achieving harmonized asylum practices.

This position allows for 90-95% remote work from any EU country, or a hybrid approach with onsite presence in Malta. The first week of onboarding (5 days) must occur onsite at the client’s premises in Valletta, Malta. It is essential that applicants can provide a clean criminal record at the time of application.

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration, development, and implementation of ICT components, including source code, solution architecture, software components, design patterns, database schemas, and configuration of the respective backend systems.
