The Role
As a Senior Operations and Risk Manager, reporting directly to the Board, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the operational and legal interests of our organization, which generates a turnover of £70 million. This newly created position is designed to provide high-level oversight and troubleshooting as we continue to grow. You will serve as the key internal resolution point for complex issues, ensuring our daily operations are compliant, effective, and efficient.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Complex Problem Solving: You will lead the resolution of high-priority matters that surpass departmental boundaries, employing your expertise to effectively engage with local authorities, legal representatives, and external stakeholders.
Contractual & Legal Coordination: Oversee the drafting and refinement of property leases and commercial agreements, serving as a critical filter for handling high-level nuances and collaborating with external solicitors on intricate litigation or specialized drafting.
Operational Oversight: Provide strategic direction to various departments and project teams to ensure that internal workflows meet the Board's expectations, addressing obstacles and offering guidance without micromanaging.
Authoritative Communication: Responsible for ensuring clear communication across all levels of the organization.
