Join our dynamic team as a Senior Planning Engineer specializing in Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects based in Kuala Lumpur. This position offers a stable work environment with a well-established Malaysian contractor that has been a leader in the construction and infrastructure sector for over 30 years.
Our projects cover a robust pipeline in property, rail, and energy sectors, supported by a PETRONAS SWEC Licence and a stellar reputation among project management consultants and government agencies. We leverage cutting-edge technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Primavera P6 to ensure our projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Primavera P6 for effective programme development, updates, and progress monitoring.
- Analyze project timelines to identify delays and assist with Extension of Time (EOT) assessments.
- Proactively identify risks and contribute to the formulation and execution of mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in project planning for rail, infrastructure, or large-scale civil works.
- Recent experience must be with a main contractor.
- Ability to transition into a planning manager role within 6 months.
- Experience collaborating with government bodies, rail operators, or major infrastructure contractors.
