Client Services Manager / Senior Practice Accountant

In this pivotal role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients while overseeing all aspects of day-to-day accountancy operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is eager to attract new business and grow within the firm. You should hold ACA or ACCA qualifications.

- Our team consists of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Management Accountants, and Chartered Tax Advisers.

The Role
- Contribute significantly to the ongoing development and growth of the practice.
- Assist in marketing initiatives aimed at existing and prospective clients.
- Deliver comprehensive social media and marketing strategies for the practice.
- Generate engaging and relevant website and media content for promotional purposes.
- Support in organizing marketing events independently or in collaboration with partners.
- Collaborate with the Director of Client Services to fully understand our end-to-end work processes.
- Work closely with the partners to manage workflows, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services that meet customer expectations.
- Engage in training to provide expert advice on various cloud accounting solutions including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Kashflow in preparation for MTD.
- Assume responsibility for your own portfolio of high-caliber clients, ensuring regular meetings and maintaining service quality while providing necessary advice.
- Act as a collaborative team player, motivating and coaching junior staff members.
- Oversee the work of junior staff before the preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies, ensuring quality control prior to client delivery.
- Complete Corporation and Partnership tax returns and develop the ability to handle complex personal tax returns for clients.
Candidate Attributes
We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:
- At least ACA or ACCA exam qualified.
- Strong understanding of current Financial Reporting Standards.
- Proven experience in providing outstanding client service.
- A genuine desire to grow the business and progress to a partner role.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Capacity to meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax systems.
