Role overview

The Senior Product Manager will guide the supply side of Care.com’s two-sided marketplace as part of the Core Product team. This position manages the full journey for care providers, building products and systems that help them connect with families, expand their businesses, and deliver quality care. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and careful attention to implementation details.

This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX or Dallas, TX, with in-office work required on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

  • Product vision & roadmap: Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Provider Experience. Identify challenges for caregivers and care businesses, and create strategies to advance the marketplace.
  • Product development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners to build, launch, and refine provider-facing products. Translate strategy into clear requirements and decisions.
  • Data, analysis & metrics: Set and track KPIs for provider experience. Use data, experimentation, and competitive analysis to identify effective strategies and prioritize opportunities.
  • Communication: Maintain thorough documentation, user stories, briefs, and requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Customer focus: Keep providers’ needs at the center of product development. Work with marketing and strategy teams to improve messaging, onboarding, and engagement for caregivers and care businesses.
