Responsibilities:Serve as the principal legal advisor throughout the AI and software product development lifecycle, from initial concept and user experience assessments to launch and post-launch evaluations. Facilitate the creation, implementation, and upkeep of a robust global privacy program that ensures compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and evolving privacy legislation. Establish legal frameworks and policies for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning development, addressing challenges such as data scraping, algorithmic bias, transparency, and intellectual property rights. Collaborate with Archer’s data transformation office and cybersecurity teams to oversee record retention policies, data mapping, data protection assessments, and strategies for data breach response. Continuously monitor and analyze emerging legislation and enforcement trends concerning privacy, AI, and consumer protection to provide strategic insights to executive leadership. Engage proactively across functions to ensure legal support is seamlessly integrated with business operations and delivered efficiently. What You Need:6–10 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or in-house legal department.
