Purpose

We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Senior Program Manager to spearhead Divergent's initiatives in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) sector. As an early member of our A&D division, you will be responsible for managing defense programs that deploy Divergent's cutting-edge technology across both new and existing defense projects. You will also lead the expansion of our capabilities to utilize DAPS™ for a wider range of defense applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in aerospace structures, particularly in aerial defense systems such as unmanned aerial vehicles or missiles. The Senior Program Manager will collaborate with defense primes and Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of Divergent's programs.

The Role

  • Oversee all facets of aerospace and defense programs from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of program outputs while adhering to cost, schedule, and performance benchmarks.
  • Direct cross-functional teams by offering strategic technical guidance and addressing programmatic constraints among engineering, manufacturing, and customer personnel.
  • Establish frameworks and analysis criteria with internal engineering teams and customer representatives to assess programmatic, technical, and risk trade-offs.
  • Develop and utilize Divergent's program management tools and templates to draft proposals, create statements of work, and monitor program performance (cost, schedule, and performance).
  • Track program performance against set metrics and milestones, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Formulate program strategies across a portfolio of clients, identifying new development prospects.
