Job Overview

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of assigned projects, maximizing EnerMech's potential. This role demands strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to effectively manage interactions with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Serve as the main point of contact for technical support throughout the pre-commissioning process.
Oversee project engineering tasks from the initial kick-off to final account, including pre-engineering and vendor selection based on project requirements.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering efforts and other functions essential for project success.
Possess in-depth knowledge of pipeline pre-commissioning and de-commissioning specifications.
Handle project status reporting and project close-out documentation in office-based duties.
Participate in client meetings to provide updates on project activities and manage schedules for resources.
Proactively identify and communicate potential risks to project timelines, deliverables, and costs.
Act as a client representative on-site, ensuring compliance with both client and company procedures.

This position demands a focus on delivering systems that meet project specifications, timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements, while effectively liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution: Lead the management of ELV system installations, including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, BMS interfaces, PA/GA, and other low-voltage systems.Review project specifications and drawings to ensure precise execution.Prepare method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and comprehensive work schedules.Monitor daily site activities to ensure alignment with approved plans.Site Coordination & Supervision: Collaborate with civil, MEP, IT, and main contractor teams to synchronize ELV activities with overall project timelines.Oversee subcontractors and technicians to guarantee quality and efficiency.Participate in site meetings, providing technical insights related to ELV systems.Proactively resolve site issues and technical queries.Quality Control & Testing: Ensure installations meet approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems.Prepare inspection reports and as-built documentation.Coordinate with clients and consultants for necessary inspections and approvals.Material & Cost Control: Aid in material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory management.Track material usage to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.Support documentation for variation orders and additional scope when necessary.
