Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering. Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). At least 10 years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure construction or rehabilitation, ideally related to aqueduct lining. Mandatory ASP Construction card. Valid driver's license. Excellent understanding of health and safety laws, regulations, and standards applicable to construction sites. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional report writing abilities and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and independence. Proven leadership and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Join our Urban Infrastructure Construction team as a Senior Project Manager specializing in Aqueduct Lining:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables while meeting the quality standards set by the water rehabilitation oversight team.
  • Continuously monitoring the progress of deliverables across all active projects.
  • Implementing necessary actions to guarantee the on-time production of deliverables that meet established quality criteria.
  • Preparing and facilitating follow-up meetings with the City of Montreal's project manager.
  • Supervising and coordinating all activities related to aqueduct lining in collaboration with oversight teams and contractors.
  • Conducting preliminary validations of invoices prepared by project oversight managers.
  • Ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promptly informing the City of Montreal's project manager of any significant or recurring issues (technical, quality, budget, timeline).
  • Proposing, developing, and implementing methods and processes that enhance the quality of services provided by the firm.
  • Participating in establishing best practices in project management and quality management.
  • Managing conflicts during project execution and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Assisting the City of Montreal's project manager in all tasks related to mandates or programs concerning network rehabilitation.
  • Reviewing and submitting weekly timesheets for team members.
