Your Role and Responsibilities
- As a key member of one of the tightly integrated teams, known as a Pod, you'll ensure that your team's contributions to each release meet the highest quality standards, focusing on defect prevention and user experience while maintaining a holistic view of release quality.
- Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the scope of coverage, accurate time estimates, resource needs, and any additional requirements to support testing from concept to release.
- Drive the creation and execution of tailored test suites and cases that align with your Pod’s specific needs and evolving scope.
- Maintain an organized and prioritized bug database in line with your Pod’s work.
- Lead the onboarding of external QA resources into your Pod, ensuring their success and alignment with internal processes while fostering strong working relationships.
- Take ownership of your Pod’s quality output through hands-on testing and ensuring accountability throughout the development stages.
- Identify pre-production quality concerns by reviewing briefs and design documents, promoting a proactive quality assurance approach.
- Facilitate Pod-specific playtests to gather feedback, track issues effectively, and ensure follow-up actions are taken when necessary.
