What You Bring:Minimum of 3 years of experience in automating UI tests for Android applications developed in Kotlin. Proficient with Espresso and Kakao-Cup, capable of testing screens built with both Jetpack Compose and traditional XML. Familiarity with Robolectric and Mockito for test infrastructure and dependency mocking. Experience in configuring and managing pipelines using CircleCI and adept in Bash/sh scripting for automation and result processing. Knowledge of test sharding and parallelization techniques.

The Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile/Android) will take the lead on quality assurance for Point Wild’s global security products. This position focuses on designing and building automation for Android, supporting VPN applications like HotspotShield and Betternet, as well as antivirus tools such as UltraAV. The team values practical solutions and works in an agile environment.

What you will do

Develop and enhance the Android automation framework using Espresso and Kakao-Cup for a range of security products.
Create advanced testing strategies to cover VPN-specific scenarios, including tests for various network conditions.
Collaborate with developers and QA peers to troubleshoot issues and write clear, detailed bug reports.
Maintain QA best practices and help shape the overall QA strategy.
Research new testing tools and methods to improve the QA process.
