In this pivotal role, the Senior Regulatory Associate will be tasked with acquiring, managing, and upholding the spectrum regulatory approvals essential for Telesat’s space segment. This includes licenses from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and other pertinent authorities. The position supports the regulatory framework surrounding Telesat’s GSO satellites and NGSO constellation, which involves managing related filings with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), assisting with engineering-led frequency coordination activities, contributing to regional or ITU discussions, and preparing responses to Canadian and U. S. consultations and proceedings related to satellite communications and associated policies.
