As a Senior Revenue Accountant in India, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring precise revenue recognition, compliance with ASC 606, and the ongoing enhancement of our internal revenue processes. Your responsibilities will include managing the accounting for professional services customer contracts, overseeing billings, revenue recognition, and margin analysis. You will prepare monthly journal entries, perform reconciliations for revenue-related general ledger accounts, and uphold the accuracy of revenue reporting.

This high-impact role provides significant exposure to the business and extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Professional Services, Order Management, and Sales, to support operational execution.

Your Impact

  • Facilitate the processing and review of professional services contracts, billing, and revenue schedules within Workday, while assessing and documenting the accounting treatment for non-standard revenue transactions.
  • Contribute to the close process, including necessary journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations for revenue, margins, and other financial reporting obligations.
  • Build a robust understanding of Anaplan’s ERP ecosystem (Workday and Salesforce) and demonstrate problem-solving skills to navigate systems independently.
  • Review amendments to existing contracts to ensure compliance with company regulations and accounting standards.
