The Senior Robotics Controls Hardware Engineer plays a pivotal role in the Engineering Department at Movu Robotics, overseeing multiple domains including electrical and functional aspects of projects. This position requires collaboration with customers to successfully deliver comprehensive projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Post sales-to-project transition, you will develop detailed concepts for projects.
- Draft functional descriptions and user manuals that define installation operations.
- Collaborate with a draughtsman to create and review electrical diagrams.
- Work alongside the draughtsman to develop clear layouts for electrical component placements and compile the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery of components by providing the purchasing department with price comparisons and technical input.
- Conduct I/O tests on-site to verify correct connections with electricians.
- Participate in technical meetings, site inspections, and necessary on-site work.
- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders before and during project execution to guarantee effective implementation.
- Act as a company ambassador to all stakeholders.
- Source external vendors for materials and installations while adhering to project budgets.
- Oversee both the pre-phase and realization phase of on-site project execution.
- Manage project costs, budgets, and calculations during the realization phase, reporting any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations throughout project execution.
- Supervise software testing alongside the commissioning engineer and propose solutions to any emerging issues.
- Develop test procedures in collaboration with the commissioning engineer.
- Deliver practical training at customer sites.
- Provide standby assistance to customers post-delivery to facilitate their operations.
- Collaborate with the site manager to address aftercare concerns.
