Key Responsibilities:Assist the VP of Regulatory Affairs and Director of Licensing in crafting and implementing Blue Energy’s licensing strategy for nuclear power plant deployment. Lead and collaborate on licensing activities, including topical report development and responses to requests for additional information (RAIs). Prepare, submit, and monitor regulatory filings such as Blue Energy’s Construction Permit Application (CPA) and other supporting documents essential for the NRC licensing process. Create topical reports, white papers, and Safety Analysis Reports (SARs). Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to align regulatory requirements with engineering designs, site selection, and construction schedules. Engage with the NRC and international regulatory organizations to address inquiries, provide necessary data, and manage RAIs.
