ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry with a specialization in miniprotein and peptide drugs. The successful candidate will spearhead projects focused on the design, synthesis, and optimization of innovative miniprotein therapeutics known as Synteins™. This position offers a unique chance to advance a new drug modality from initial research stages into clinical development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, execute, interpret, and optimize Syntein structure-activity campaigns through hands-on laboratory work.
- Utilize modern peptide chemistry and conjugation methods to enhance the development of miniprotein drugs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including computational chemistry, biology, and pharmacology, to ensure project success.
- Foster innovation at the bench side, facilitating the transition of concepts into practical applications.
- Mentor and support junior scientists, creating a collaborative and vibrant lab environment.
- Contribute to patent applications and scientific publications, highlighting laboratory innovations.
