We are a vibrant team of 70 professionals, with approximately 45 dedicated to engineering, spread across North and South America.
Your Role
As we expand our customer base, the security landscape of our platform becomes increasingly complex. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer who can act swiftly, adopt a holistic perspective, and elevate the security standards of our products and infrastructure. This role emphasizes ownership of security outcomes, focusing on identifying critical risk areas, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams, and overseeing remediation from conception to deployment. You'll have the freedom to influence our security strategy while remaining engaged with key systems.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and address high-impact security vulnerabilities throughout the organization.
Manage application security tools relevant to code, dependencies, and secrets.
Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and architectural reviews for both new and existing services.
Evaluate and prioritize findings from bug bounty programs and penetration tests.
Oversee security monitoring and incident response, including alerts, investigations, and follow-ups.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Extensive background in security engineering with practical experience in securing production environments.
Proficient in driving cross-team remediation efforts with clear priorities and follow-through.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables and ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, product-oriented setting.
Experience with integrating security practices into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes.
Experience in dynamic startups or small teams is advantageous.
