About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software/Platform Engineer to create secure and dependable frameworks for our AI Engineers and agentic AI systems, including large language model applications and integrations based on model control protocols. Your mission will be to design and implement guardrails that ensure the safest path is also the most accessible, empowering teams to operate swiftly without compromising security. We are looking for versatile software and Site Reliability Engineers who can contribute to our mission.
This role is hands-on with a strong emphasis on Security and Reliability, ideal for:
- Backend or Full-stack Software Engineers with experience in building internal tools
- AI security software engineers
- Site Reliability Engineers
- Platform Engineers
- DevSecOps Engineers who have a track record of delivering code
Technical Skills
Familiarity with adjacent tooling is welcome, provided there is a demonstrable history of delivering production platforms.
- Proficiency in Golang/Go or TypeScript, alongside Python
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- Knowledge of Serverless architectures, Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and GitOps deployment patterns
- Expertise in AWS IAM and related infrastructure services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or Pulumi)
- Experience with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Observability and Tracing
- Preferred: Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and LiteLLm
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop platform capabilities that facilitate the secure and scalable adoption of AI systems across the organization.
- Create secure-by-default platform components (APIs, services, and guardrails) that simplify security complexities, enabling engineering teams to accelerate their workflows.
- Establish evaluation and safety mechanisms within delivery processes, including regression checks, model provenance validation, safety testing, and ongoing reliability enhancements.
- Identify vulnerabilities in architectures and implement enhancements that bolster prevention, detection, and response capabilities across the AI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with GenAI engineers and other cross-functional teams to harmonize security protocols, telemetry, and developer experiences into cohesive “golden paths”.
- Integrate with enterprise identity management systems to ensure robust security frameworks.
