Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer will join the software development team in Manila. This role involves working on active projects, collaborating with clients and cross-functional groups, and supporting the product team throughout the software development lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Oversee technical operations and handle debugging to keep platforms running smoothly at scale.
- Act as a technical advisor, sharing insights on complex tasks and encouraging industry best practices.
- Work closely with developers and product owners to deliver features on time and at a high standard.
- Stay current with new technologies and integrate them to keep products competitive.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4-6 years of software development experience.
- Strong skills in PHP and frameworks such as Yii or Laravel.
- Experience across the stack, including React, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Solid understanding of REST API integrations and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum, experience using JIRA, and knowledge of effective CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and lead teams with strong interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms to solve complex architectural problems.
