We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our essential database connector team. This role involves a balanced mix of design and implementation to enhance the technical framework of Fivetran's product suite.

As a senior engineer on the database connector team, your focus will be on efficiently capturing data from relational databases. You will be integral to the software development lifecycle for functionalities crucial to the success of our largest enterprise clients. Collaborating with engineers throughout the organization, you will identify opportunities for product enhancements. Your responsibilities will include ensuring your team's technical excellence and taking ownership of services through code reviews and architectural design contributions.

The ideal candidate will possess sufficient experience and confidence to make decisive choices when necessary, along with the pragmatism to build and iterate on systems while they are live. Demonstrating strong ownership and proactivity is vital for success in this role.

This full-time role is based in our Novi Sad office, with a hybrid work model that allows for a combination of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration, including two days in the office weekly to foster team connections and development.
