The Capacity & Efficiency Engineering team is responsible for developing software solutions that manage, govern, and minimize Robinhood's AWS cloud expenditures. This team operates at the crossroads of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and FinOps, managing systems that associate cloud costs with actual consumers, identify spending anomalies, and provide actionable insights. The visibility of this team's work significantly influences the company's cost efficiency and long-term scalability!
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Capacity & Efficiency Engineering team, you will design and develop systems that enhance the transparency, predictability, and control of cloud costs. You will collaborate closely with engineers, Data Science, and Infrastructure partners to create tools that identify inefficiencies, monitor over-provisioning, and empower teams to take decisive actions to reduce waste across AWS and Kubernetes environments.
This position is located in our Bellevue, WA office, with in-person attendance required at least three days per week.
