Role overview
This Senior Software Engineer (Node.js / AWS) position centers on a project in the education technology sector. What you will do
- Develop RESTful services using AWS API Gateway and Lambda with Node.js and NestJS.
- Design and implement scalable, event-driven microservice architectures with Amazon EventBridge, SNS, SQS, RabbitMQ, and AmazonMQ.
- Lead engineering initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Integrate external APIs into core systems.
- Use GitHub Copilot in daily development, including AI-assisted code reviews within CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or Koa.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly Lambda (serverless) and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Strong skills in TypeScript.
- Experience working with message brokers and asynchronous communication in distributed systems.
- Proficiency with Git and established version control practices.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
