Qualifications
Proven experience in designing, architecting, and developing native Windows desktop applications with expertise in Windows App SDK, WinUI (or equivalent UI frameworks), C#, XAML, and, if necessary, C++. Strong understanding of best practices in Windows desktop development, including code architecture, performance optimization, memory management, responsive UI design, cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+), and maintainability. Experience leading accessibility initiatives by integrating and validating support for accessibility APIs (e.g., Microsoft UI Automation) and ensuring usability for users with disabilities through effective UI controls, focus management, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader support. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with product designers, UX researchers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to influence feature planning, UI/UX architecture, and the long-term roadmap for the Windows platform. Demonstrated ownership of the full feature lifecycle: conception, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance, ensuring quality and reliability across all releases. Proficient in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues, or compatibility problems, with the ability to propose effective architectural or design solutions.
