About the job
ABOUT ROCKET LAB
Rocket Lab is a pioneering end-to-end aerospace company dedicated to providing agile launch services, comprehensive spacecraft design and manufacturing, payload solutions, satellite components, and more, all aimed at democratizing access to space. The rockets and satellites we engineer and launch facilitate some of the most ambitious and critical space missions worldwide, supporting scientific exploration, Earth observation, climate change initiatives, national security, and groundbreaking technology demonstrations.
Our Electron rocket has emerged as the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket annually, successfully deploying over 230 satellites into orbit. Meanwhile, we are advancing our Neutron rocket, a medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed for larger constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is at the forefront of developing a wide array of satellites, payloads, and components, including spacecraft selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as instruments utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.
SPACE SYSTEMS
At Rocket Lab, we’re not just launching rockets; we’re shaping the future of space exploration. Our Space Systems team develops everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the essential components and subsystems that enable them to operate in space, such as solar panels, flight software, star trackers, optical systems, and communication radios.
Our team has successfully facilitated over 1,700 missions, encompassing interplanetary exploration, in-space manufacturing, and national security initiatives. We collaborate with esteemed partners, including NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U. S. Space Force, to create spacecraft and components for missions to the Moon and Mars. Whether designing high-performance spacecraft or integrating components that help them reach space, our world-class Space Systems team is empowering some of the most daring and ambitious missions in space history.
