Key Responsibilities:
- Database Design and Development: Craft intricate SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting. Develop and sustain database structures, including schemas, tables, indexes, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures. Design robust SQL database architectures for scalability and high availability.
- SQL Query Optimization: Create, assess, and enhance SQL queries to efficiently handle substantial datasets while ensuring optimal performance and dependability.
- Data Quality Monitoring: Establish validation rules and checks to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of vital reporting datasets.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate cloud-based SQL queries and database performance metrics to propose and execute optimization strategies. Utilize Azure Monitor and other tools for database performance oversight and automated tuning processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in preparing precise and traceable data for regulatory reporting, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal standards.
- AWS Data Pipelines: Participate in designing and maintaining scalable, cloud-native data pipelines using Azure services for comprehensive data management and transformation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders across various markets to synchronize on regulatory requirements and reporting logic.
