Key Responsibilities:Design and implement HPC software stack integrations, leading the development process. Establish and uphold best practices for coding, quality assurance, documentation, and continuous integration & deployment. Conduct and participate in thorough code reviews. Self-manage projects, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and addressing technical risks effectively. Mentor junior engineers as we build a strong team around you. Optimize scheduling and parallelization to minimize overhead between classical and quantum resources. Ideal Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience; unconventional backgrounds are welcomed!Over 13 years of experience in software engineering.5+ years of contributions to open-source projects.2+ years of experience with SLURM or other HPC batch schedulers (e.g., LSF, PBS, GridEngine) and related technologies. Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Microk8s. Experience with MPI or other multiprocessing methodologies. Proficiency in workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Argo Workflows, Kubeflow). Strong command of system programming languages like C/C++ or Go, alongside advanced scripting in Python. In-depth experience working in a Linux environment.
